Where are all the higher mileage Gransports?

I am finally in a position to buy a Gransport and the only ones available apart from one are <50k miles and £28k plus.
I'm not too fussed about the mileage as it's a weekend toy for a few years but all the £20k higher mileage ones have vanished! Will there be a few for sale in the spring or are they hiding elsewhere?

There's one on Autotrader for £19k, serviced and with a new clutch, although the interior may not be to everyone's taste. Failing which it would be worth asking around indies etc who may know of cars that might soon be available.

Wait around, there will be one or so available soon......

At that budget you should look into a good AC!!

Try Richard Grace Cars or Nuvola London. Call them rather than just look at the web sites as they may know of something suitable lurking somewhere.

Good luck!

The last month or so they have been snapped up.....You see the lower miles ones up for 10k more and I'm sure punters are thinking they ain't worth paying 10k more for lower miles.......So the bargains have gone......Sure some more will be along with Spring on the way....
There is that blue one as said above as long as you can cope with the interior colour...

I know at least 8 Gransport that were listed around £30k+ that have sold in the last two weeks. There haven't been any low-mid £20k's cars for a few weeks.

A waiting game ...it goes in fits and starts and buses, just keep ear to ground and keep asking recommended indies like Richard in the loop

The Gransport has had a lot of good press recently with both Evo & Octane stating it will be a future classic and is currently undervalued, i think that combined with 50k+ cars being around £10k cheaper than the <50k cars has resulted in the cheaper ones being snapped up. It will be interesting to see what prices the higher miles ones appear for next time they come onto the market as spring/summer usually pushes prices up but i'm not sure there's the room for further appreciation

mine has done almost 63k now, not sure what it's worth (doesn't matter as i won't be selling it) but going by recent prices i'd expect to get back what i paid for it a year ago when it had 55k miles

I know when I was looking, GranSports hold their price very well, they do not seem to depreciate as much as others..!! I would do what I finished up doing after looking for months, ask Dicky to look for one for you, Richard Grace Cars, tell him what colour etc and he will hunt for you..!!

It will be interesting in 3 years time where the GTS and GS will be, they could swap, but if they did, would be tempted to jump?

I think that although I don't think the are worth over 30k these days it would seem that if you want one then 27k plus is how its going........and probably good ones are not going to go lower now....I conceed to that....

Andy,
A good later car is probably worth around the £30K mark, that's what the market is dictating at the moment..!! Slightly older higher mileage cars are still demanding decent money and seem to becoming that bit harder to find..!! It's seems to be the market that is dictating the worth at the moment, no matter what we think they are worth..!!

It is articles like this that have done wonders for the prices. I'm just waiting for Wheeler Dealers to do the same for 3200 prices!

I'm certainly not disagreeing Rob.......Prices have gone up over the last year and I pretty sure they aint going to go down.....Suppose its just me...Wouldn't pay that for a GS........27/28K Max for me but I do realise that they probably will not even be at that price in a few years...

I know exactly what you mean Andy..!! I could never understand why the GS, when compared to such as the facelift 4200 around the same age, was worth quite a few thousand more, I just could not get my head round it..!! I then decided to try and find out why and drove the GS..!! It's is a different car and whilst I still had reservations about the difference in price, I eventually found one that I wanted and absolutely love it, well worth the money..!!
