In my defence, I was only there while Emblem were tinkering with my car. I spent the day in the town to keep out of the way.

To be fair, I suppose that's going to be the same the country over. Daytime town centre inhabitants are going to be either genuine shoppers, inebriates or dole dossers.

I'm turning into a mix of Victor Meldrew, Peter Griffin and Homer Simpson and I'm not sure which is worse.

Pretty sure that's not, actually true, but it was a by product of taking away prisoners' belts. It became a badge of having done time. 'Oooh, look at me, I'm a bad boy'
