It had to happen soon or later - and I did it tonight hit the kerb with front wheel - can any one recommend
somewhere in the Bristol area for it to be repaired.

Its on the rim by the tyre approx. 2.5inch - could have been worse I suppose.

Sorry to hear that, Karen. Can't help on a good place near Bristol (a Wise Bristolian Guru will doubtless be along soon) but if it's any consolation I had mine done on Monday and found a tiny nick on one on Tuesday. Will touch it up on Saturday.

Thanks Peter.

Sorry for a probable daft question - does the whole wheel have to be done and will they be able to match the colour?

They do the whole wheel including stripping off the old paint...they do not do smart repairs as they tend to flake off after a while. Thats also why the tyre comes off so there is no half measures.

I have another wheel to do once I find time to get a tyre as its not worth putting the old one back on.

Turn around is about 3/4 days.

Andy,

Can you let me know what you think of them, as they are nearer.
And at some point I will also need to get 2 wheels done on the spider as well as the one I did last night.

thanks
Karen

Will do...I have sent them an email today to get an idea on price....I will see if they can beat the one in Cwmbran as I already have a quote from them.

I will give them a call, as new to Maserati I appreciate the recommendations from you guys.

Its just getting there at the moment not much free time - would like to get it done asap - only a small amount of damage - but annoying to look at.

Ah man, I did that within a month of buying mine too, very annoying! Wasn't too expensive to repair, I paid around 100 inc VAT.
