I thought it was 98 on the 4200 /GS and many seem to torque to 100 much past that and the threads will start to get stretched. If sprogs or similar replacements then you could have failure above 110 as benny will testify.

It’s not how tight they are, it’s how strong they are. The torque is just to make sure they stay done up and put in a bit of preload.

and there is the reason for torquing all fasteners. Most don't understand that the torque produces preload that exceeds the dynamic load, but is less than the yield strength of the fastener. By having a static load greater than the dynamic, the fastener never sees a varying load, and doesn't fatigue.

I've used con-rod bolts that were supplied with a 'stretch' figure, rather than a 'torque' figure. When assembled, the bolts all had the correct 'stretch', even thought the 'torque' varied.

100nm yes, myself personally, 105nm…just to be sure. I wouldn’t go any further than this or you will put too much stress in the bolts, remember the brakes heat soak expand the torque further.

thanks all for feedback and although i fall into the camp of "OMG, the same as a fiat panda!" i went with the 98 as advised.
