It would be quicker for you to drive here and have a look Matt, than for me to photo and list even a hundredth of the stuff in the 'shed'. Newton and Jeanette had a wander round and needed a cup of tea to make it back out! :D

It's not running yet, but at least it looks like a car again (a few years ago it was just a pile of parts..). Every weekend I'm rolling her out of the shed so I can continue working.

Don't mention sheds, I've just spent 2 weeks building a log cabin, gave the inside a coat of clear varnish and after 3 days it's still tacky :(

I'm going to try wiping the surface off with turps tomorrow but ifthatdoesnt work it's going to be a gallon of nitromors and a brush

It's a big old shed Drew!

Mine; a lot less now than the beginning of the year but if I'm not counting the garage, the shed is mostly low value and used by Alex to keep his motor Bike in. There is however a 2.0 twin spark engine in there and my Suffolk Punch lawn mower.

My question is - how long has the stuff been in your shed? Surely after a couple of years it is just useless junk as in reality you are never going to use them.

Wished I'd taken a picture of my brothers shed now he had a tree growing through it with nesting robins. There was a lawn mower stuck inside and some other gardening bits

20 years, perhaps. A couple of years is just rational spares!

Been having a think about some of the odd things I have in the shed:

Spares for a JP5, including a fuel filler cap and surrounding flange.
Boxes and boxes of power supplies, controllers, computer cards and parts for machines >20 years ago.
Enough furniture and white goods to furnish a couple of houses.
9km of 1mm cable (in every colour imaginable), similar lengths of 0.5mm, 1.5mm, 2.5mm... only 1km or so of 4mm and larger.
Hundreds of thousands of crimp terminals.
A slightly bent steering wheel for a 1949 Grey Fergie.
A brand new centre section exhaust for a late 60's Mini Cooper S.
Many, many wheels and tyres for various road and race cars.
Full set of spare brake disks for a Maserati I no longer have.... ;)

Two Busso V6s , as set of AC alloys. A GTV in bits! A spare GTV bumper. Various sundry bits and bobs. Oh and someones whirly drier under protest!
