Did you enjoy Ignition and have they extended the parking yet?
I live fairly close by in Nottingham. I run a local village car club and we’ve had a run out to Ignition a couple of times and enjoyed it. Last time I was there they mentioned maybe using some of the grass area for parking (weather permitting). The food is great and makes for a good half day / drive out.I go all the time, I live less than 5 minutes away. Closest cafe to me, so often pop in for a bacon butty. There‘s only usually a few cars there, lunchtime in the week maybe only 3 or 4.
Weekends are mixed. Saturday was a Lotus club meet in the morning so I’m told it was busy. When we went early afternoon, perhaps only 7 or 8 cars there including ours. (And one remaining broken down Lotus Esprit with accompanying AA van) Think the booking system can be confusing. Really no need to book other than at peak times. As I live so close, I usually just pop up without booking.
Not much real opportunity to extend parking, so will always be limited to 25-30 max at a weekend. Lewis the owner has a 2 seat Stradale and works on it a lot himself, so interesting to talk to. Not sure if he’s on here or not.
Another plus, is even if the place is quiet, it’s in the Peak District countryside and you can always go for a spin on the surrounding roads.
Are you local, been much?

I saw that Lewis had bought the Stradale so will be fascinated to see how it progresses. I’ve not been there yet in my Maserati, but will definitely take it next time.

Yes I’ll let you know for sure. Would be good to meet a fellow Maserati owner.Hi, next time you’re planning a visit, if you post on here I’ll try and pop up. Not sure if there are many other local owners on here too?
Yes, food pretty good, limited menu, but tasty because of that
He occasionally parks his own cars on the grass outside the front, but it’s not really a very big area, not seen any customer ones on there yet. I think he has a bit of trouble with complaining neighbours as well
Yes, the business at the back is an odd one. “Pottery Painting and Well Being Studio”. Acupuncture and pottery, a strange combination, can’t think why no one is ever there .Yes I’ll let you know for sure. Would be good to meet a fellow Maserati owner.
Yes they definitely have trouble with one of the businesses at the back, think the owner was patrolling the parking area last time I was there and she wasn’t happy lol! The annoying thing was in the two hours we were there, no cars for her own business / trade were parked in her allocated spaces!
Hoping to get get over there in the next couple of months so will let you know. I’ve not had a chance to stretch the legs of the new car yet so it needs it……
Yes agree reference the business set up at the back, maybe it’s a front for something else, either way it’s never busy.Yes, the business at the back is an odd one. “Pottery Painting and Well Being Studio”. Acupuncture and pottery, a strange combination, can’t think why no one is ever there .
Nipped up the week before with my 11 year old and had a ”sound off“ with a DBS, think he just won….maybe….
Made it onto to their Instagram page that day.

Is that a Sao Paulo yellow M4? My genesis GV60 is sao paulo lime, never fail to find it in a car park lol
Those M4 (or M3, I dunno) thingies are blisteringly quick. We had one on the Le Mans trip this year, a Competition thingy. It was properly bonkers and had the edge on mine.Yes, it is Sao Paulo yellow. Bloody fast as well. Had a little drive after and he followed me, I could see him having to ease off as he caught me!
What were the usual warnings you refer to?I had a flat battery last night, usual warnings and need to go to the dealer. No issue as I knew it was coming...
Went and picked up a replacement Bosch for £160 - cheaper online but needed it today.
I don't think they could have made it much more of a hassle to swap the battery, so many screws, bolts and nuts. You can see why most people do not reinstall the clamps.
I put all the clamps back on properly with the new battery so the next owner can enjoy the process
