What do you LOVE about your Mas

Whilst clearly not a priority for midlifecrisis :), I use ICE to improve refinement as it helps to smooth gear changes and keeps the box in higher gears for longer. I imagine it may improve economy for not those reasons.

The looks.
The noise.
The compliments from others.
Being let out at side turnings.
Annoying my neighbours.
The appreciation from other car owners.
Random people you've never met before talking to you at petrol stations.
And not forgetting the adrenaline rush when you drop it 2 or 3 gears and boot it!
And the noise. Oh the noise. :luvit::luvit::luvit::luvit:

Knowing that I bought mine as a project with a potential knackered engine and bringing her back to life myself.
Love my 4200 and she gets plenty of attention down here.

Even more with the shopping trolley on the roof ;)

All of what's been said, but....

she's a work of art, and it still kicks me every day looking at her

Park a £15k Masser next to an £80k BMW - revel in the "ooooh, look at the MASERATI" remarks from passers by.

The real brand value is perception, if they could just capture this and release cars that Owners want, it will live on (albeit probably underwritten by a big corp).

Love the noise, the subtle presence, the "nice car mate" comments and even like looking in my rear vision mirror and seeing the boy racers in their ss commodores, weaving through traffic to catch up to me in the hope I will race them.......

Especially with Larinis, and the stone walls prevalent around here for that extra noise acoustic enhancement!

Indeed, much to the annoyance of the BMW driver

I parked mine next to a newish 911 once to get something from the local shop, I happened to be getting in mine the same time as the 911 owner. There was also a group of 6 or 7 teenagers there as well looking at both cars.
From what I could tell they were split on what they thought was better.

The 911 started up first and blipped the throttle, the lads were impressed.
I started mine blipped the throttle and the look on their faces was priceless. And one of shock.
They then looked and pointed at the 911 and laughed.
Mr 100 grand 911 owner was not impressed.

Quite simply the way it makes me feel every time I look, drive or even think about it.

I bought it because I love it and it makes me happy.

Apologies in advance for not responding with the same passion and colour.
But for me:-
Looks
Finish
Performance. Although, and at the risk if being vilified;), whilst I mostly drive in ICE mode, this is the first car that I actively select 'Sport' mode for the torque delivery and exhaust sound.
Although vane, comments from passerby!
I think the Maserati name despite criticism is still one of the leading evocative car brands.

Why you driving in ice mode?

All it does it change gear earlier so you are in a higher gear so it prevents wheel spin when driving icy conditions.

Not with the new ones. ICE means something else.

Improved Control and Efficiency. Less aggressive throttle and favours higher gears than normal and sport.

Like I said. I did play with it on my Italy trip and got no difference in mpg on the run down and back to driving in normal mode. Left it in sport driving around Italy as it was more fun

I think we have all done the same or similar - I love turning a few heads in an underground or multi story carpark.
The looks of "What the F##k is that!" and swiveling heads amongst a sea of Saturday afternoon shopping barges and Chelsea tractors

The noise, always the noise especially as i've now got my X-pipe Benny special on, sounds even more delicious:thumb3: specially when you start it in sport mode, and, and it's a big and, all the w***ers in A4's or 3 series up your chuff end until of course you drop it down a cog then its all over
