Not a fan...once these things go mainstream...they loose all impact....but if you really are famous.....or wanted by police....then a good idea!!

I have it in the back of my big Jeep, great for ogling the talent going past and does add some mystique, but it's very much a choice thing.

Have them on the saab and the Mas as well. They're legal here, but not any types of darkness. The QP would be illegal.

Can't say I'm a fan, but you can probably get away with a slight tint at the back. Black paintwork doesn't help as it just compounds the effect.

Sun protection glass was an option on the QP, essentially a mild tint and my car has it fitted. To be honest its a pain as you can't see as well in your mirrors or out of the back window at night.

I have been known to park up outside senior netball practice nets, just for a short time though, an old dog knows all the tricks!!!

I don't like it to be Frank. The tint in the thread is actually illegal as you can't put over I think its 20% tint on windscreens and front side glass and the police can fine you.

If you had to, go for the same 20% tint all round.

Hmm. agree with the above. Also, I think it "cheapens" the way the car looks. I tried privacy glass on my Tipo, and to be honest, it didnt do much.

I like tints on black 4x4 but not on expensive prestige cars.....

Light tint but not the illegal stuff

All so 20th century now....what people will have next is electrically controlled tinting of all colours as an optional extra

See, I didnt know that and have thought for ages there shulld be adjustable tints. I think photocromatic would be nice....so bright sunshine = dark, night = clear.

Personally, I think subtle tints are best....if you see a car with slight tints, they often look so much nicer than a comparable car but its hard to see why. I like that.

Brilliant idea photochromatic glass, I would keep the back window clear though, too risky not to be able to see what's behind you.
