Tracker fobs. When Tracker is activated (which it probably isn't on your car if you've not been paying the annual subscription) you need one on you (in the car), otherwise it alerts Tracker that the car is being moved/stolen. Obviously if you get if activated you'll need to take them from the glovebox and keep one in your wallet and one somewhere safe at home.

Eh how does that work?

I thought that the idea of a tracker is that if someone steals your car you call up Tracker and tell them that the car is gone and they try and locate it based on the signal from the transponder installed in a hidden (granted not exactly brilliant) place in the vehicle. How are they alerted if the car is taken when the fob is not on the person taking it? It sound fraught with issues if the wife takes it, you forget the fob, valet park it etc....

No they point is if the car is moved and the fob is not in the car you don't need to notify them! They notify you as it is an unauthorised movement.

You get a message Immediately on your phone.

I had this with my last Lambo (but only because insurance dictated so) and it wasn't quite the PITA I thought it would be. Simply kept the card in my wallet.
