Was there another car manufacturer you were really into before Maserati?

I still haven't put up a Newbie thread yet to say hello but will wait till my new car is completely finalised ( next couple of days)
Mega forum by the way ( I think Ive read most threads since day 1 over christmas hahaha)

But thought I would jump in here as Im with you guys on the Mini side of things
My Grandfathers car from New in 1972 became my first car at 15 then I bought it back a few years ago and pulled it apart and made a bit faster and a bit lighter as you can see

I also agree with the Porsche and TVR side of things
Coming from a Chimaera and Tuscan to a 996 Turbo
And now a 356 Speedster Replica the brand is certainly something as a Petrolhead you do get hooked into
Hence my new love for Maserati and my Carbon fetish has continued with my new Purchase

Pics from our Roadtrip to run it in

Love the mini; awsome colour and love that it has not been de-seamed as I think it spoils them; just a small niggle with the Euro style undersize tyres on the rims, it is not for me personally, just love everything else about it mind :)

I tend to be quite loyal to Marques.
On the fun side of things 4 TVR's were eventually replaced in my affections by two Nobles.
On the bread and butter side of things, Honda's were my boat in the late 80's early 90's
