I have gone over 3000 revs a couple of times.....

The comparison was one make to another, even at 3000 revs i can tell the difference between worn and new !!

Well worn tyres are exciting in the wet, but on a low powered fwd car the linglongs i have on it appear to be ok.
My merc diesel had new pzero when I bought it and it has been fine but it is on 190bhp. My QP had them and they never tracked right and the back end was very loose. The car was transformed on Michelin. The Strad has Pirelli and I am very conscious it is running them. Even on warmer french roads this year it was edge of the seat on some corners. Cannot wait to get rid in the new year.
