Hi Neil

I have a pair of standard back boxes off of my old 4200 but not sure whether they will fit a 3200 or not?

Let me know if you are interested.

There is a company I will be using in Bristol called infinity. They've quoted me £500 for a full system (excluding cats) which is fantastic value. I need to call in to see them to get. Final cost for full system turbos back but guess it won't be more than £700.

Thanks P,
I've contacted MIJ who have quoted a very, very good price!!
Do you have any feedback as to quality etc?
Cheers

That seems fantastic but I'm in Sheffield and a trip to Bristol would be costly and very time consuming.
Pity I'm not closer :-(

I need to replace mine too Neil, would you mind telling me what price you were given by MIJ as I was thinking of a trip to the West Midlands to see them also?
Cheers

i just had straight bits of pipe put on mine, think it was £300, it wasnt that loud at all really, so i had it de-catted, still not loud enough so getting x-pipe put in at some point (then it will just be pipe work, no silencers at all)

Hi Neil I have used mij three times in total for different cars and I would say you get what you pay for ,I currently have them on my 4200 and to be ornest if there where closer to home and not so heavey I would have sent them back ,quality was very poor looked like some one had taken a hammer to them to shape them for welding , personally I would look else where but that is just my personal experience.

I have them on the Merc, agree get what you pay for. However I really struggled to get the back boxes replaced under guarantee. Then out the blue had an email, an apology, and two tailpipes in the post. They stated they had problems with previous sales staff, and had now moved on. If I was buying to budget would use them again, but would prefer to save and put quality on.

I guess you do get what you pay for but if they are prepared to work with you to get what you want out of the system, I would sacrifice the visual look of the finish if the performance and note is what you want. This is just my opinion but for me, I am not going to spend time under the car admiring a beautiful polished finish and owning a 10 year old plus supercar, there's always going to be something else to spend my hard earned money on!

I've got a pair for my 4200 which I use for Le Mans. They are well made from good stainless and they will enhance the burble from your engine. Good choice!

If they are the same as mine, they are straight through pipes. They save a lot of weight over standard but shouldnt be too loud, just fruity enough to be noticed! You won't go far wrong listening to Marios.
