Viewing this MC Shift tomorrow

I'm going to view this 2011 GTS MC Shift tomorrow morning and wonder if anyone knows the car or has already viewed it please.

It's a commission sale and second owner has had it since 2015. Has comfort pack, bose and f&r parking sensors so to my mind has the important options.

Last MOT in Dec'16 at 17k miles had an advisory re front inner edges of tyres wearing. Would this be alignment or could bushes already be tired. Car has now done 25k miles.

I wont be buying it without a specialist independent inspection and I'm conscious that life left in clutch, brake discs and suspension bushes are big ticket items. Engine number is 171xxx so has revised variators. Been on this forum long enough to have done some homework!

Many thanks.

Yep as said, get an alignment check done, get Voicey or Giallo to inspect it for bush wear etc and a good once over.

Good luck with the car - I have the same carbin spec and it really helps the car stand out in the crowd.

Looks very nice. I agree the carbon bits make it a bit different & help a lot.

Not sure if it is me but normally I'm not a fan of black interiors on Masers but just trying to work out what looks the best colour interior on a GT. I'm not a fan of this interior I'm afraid. Can't imagine the grey works any better. Not a fan of red so black seems the best option.

What is the nicest interior colour on a GT?

Cuoio (or tan if we can skip the fancy Italian names)

acres of alcantara, a bit of leather and carbon, all darker colours, and stitching to match calipers..

I opted for black leather with black alcantara inserts and white stitching - having said that all my previous cars have had pale coloured leather.

It's lucky we have different tastes otherwise Maserati would adopt the Ford Model T approach to colour options.

I prefer contrasting paint/trim and think black alcantara with light stitching in a white car, like Dyers, looks stunning. However, I'd want red or a shade of beige in a black or graphite car. Still think classic combo is blue with tan.
