urgently need to disconect 4200 alarm!!

Sorry to start a new thread but I urgently need to disconect the alarm on my 4200 due to my new key not being synced to the alarm ecu the alarm constantly off whenever I drive! Cheers to anyone that can help

The very best of luck.

Not being easy to disconnect / bypass is somewhat a requirement of alarm's sadly :(

The siren is in the boot, left hand side, behind the liner. That's quite easy to disconnect, but it may well continue to wail for a while depending on the state of its internal battery.

No idea how you're going to be able to stop the flashers.

I *suspect* your best bet will be a new set of plibs and ECU from a break (David Askew, for example) but would love to hear that I'm wrong.

Well I took the fuse out in the footwell and it carried on for about another 5 mins , then after that it went silent and I havnt heard a peep since :)

I should remember that there's always a simple answer. What are your hazard lights doing?
