Tyre question

I need some front tyres. the current ones are at the wear bars on the inner edges, so I doubt will get us to Spain and back next month. I blame my wife wearing them out at Thruxton.

They will be 235/35/19 91Y Pirelli P-Zeros to match the rears.

However on Black circles I can find 10 different P-zeros of that size, including the "Rosso" which I think are on the car now, but which at £133 are about £80 cheaper than 2 years ago.

Also I thought I needed the XL Lambo fitment ones (£170), or was I misled by someone at a garage as they had them in stock?

The main dealer offered me some at trade price he had in stock, although quite where he gets them I don't know, unless they were the directionale Ferrari ones.

How can you tell the difference between the different p-zeros, or is it likely to be just the sticker on the packet?

Thanks,

As I understand it there are around 4 different Zero tyres, the Lambo tyres I'd think would be the Corsa version. I would think these are pretty much summer tyres and pretty soft to boot. If you are looking at touring I'd look at the standard Zero or Rosso tyres which should wear a bit slower than the Corsa.
The tyre names should be written on the side ie, Corsa, Rosso, Nero, or just Zero along with asymmetric or not.

If you are getting uneven wear I'd get the alignment sorted too to help get the best possible life out of them.
As has also been said on previous threads, keep on top of tyre pressures as it makes a big difference on tyre life with powerful cars.

Hope this helps,
