Two tone trimmed 4200

I have seen two adverts for cars with this trim style...they may be the same car? But have nothing in my options catalogue for the head restraints option.

Looks like a nice car...wonder, however if the cause the oil/water pump replacement was the 4 year service gap?

Looks ok Pete. I think it's the same car as the other you are talking about. I would say not factory but then if you are willing to pay they will do almost anything you ask for so could be.

If it is the same car the front seats were not embossed with the tridents.

That price bodes well for late-Facelifts - wonder what mine would bring in being a 2006 with way less than 30k on the clock....

Asking and selling...two different things if the car is not perfect it will stand around for a while.

Be interesting to hear views on the pump v service item.

The oil/water pump is nearly 1500 pounds then the labour and fluids so that should be good for another 10 years plus.

Out of interest Phil...is there any link to pump failure and poor service history? I ask as this car appears, from the advert, to have missed serives X4 ?

Price is about right. There's not a lot of good examples out there and we're not factoring in the rarity value. I expect to get what I've paid for mine despite using it and putting on 22k miles in nearly 5 years of ownership. the car is in better condition than when I bought it, new clutch and serviced regularly. Niggles have been fixed. Starts first time every time.

So why should I sell it for less. You're talking yourself out of money.
