Fantastic pics.

Really love the Granturismo. My fave Maser. Especially in Black.

Scenery ain't bad either!

Fabulous photo's Mick. Thanks for posting them.

No front plate?

Got pulled off when I bought the car as I drove up our drive which has a dip, put it back and it came off on a speed bump, so hadn't bothered with it since. Just kept it in the passenger footwell.

Only time anyone commented was crossing the border into Italy, the official asked where the plate was, I showed it to him, he said keep it there it looks better that way.

You have to love the Italian way of thinking...

Lovely pics Mick, I came home through Italy on the way back from France a few weeks ago. Really felt like I should have taken a few more days to stop and enjoy it rather than just blasting through. MUST go back there again sometime soon.

I've been fortunate enough to travel extensively through Asia (Thailand through to Singapore), Australia (A figure of 8 taking in all the coast line and the middle), New Zealand (from bottom to top) and the US (Route 66, LA to Chicago) doing some amazing road trips, yet I've hardly travelled Europe.

I think that's the next mission, you've inspired me, particularly with it being relatively on the door step.

I think we are going to give it a whirl in September (ish)

If your doing the Alps thing at the same time Rob , dont leave it too much later as the higher passes will either be closed or very icy

I fancied the Stelvio this time, but point taken, there is no way I would attempt it on anything but dry roads. That last France trip in the snow with the others on the MC trip was enough for me, just too much grunt at the rear for that white stuff??
Cheers
