I hope the group buy discs come soon MOT due 28th April and these are not going to pass.

I am going to take then to see if I can get them skimmed just to get the car through the MOT but I am not sure they can be as one is very very bad. Does anyone have a used set that are better than these I could use ?

BIts of the surface flaking off in sections of the braking surface.
Maybe they can be skimmed then.

I would skim them not ideal but would be fine to get you though the mot , I did this to mine last year and there been fine , the scaremongers will be along soon to te you it's a big no no but along as you don't go track day racing with them and take it easy inti you can replace them with the group buy which should be here any time now .

If you can't find anyone to skim them I can talk you through doing them yourself on th car! Done it twice on mine and tracks it after plus the Modena trip...

thanks for the offer. I have a local guy who can skim them for £30 and its only until the group buy new discs arrives it the best option to keep it on the road.

£30 sounds like a bargain, I bet it has been handling a little 'strangely'...?
