Torque tube issues?

Hi guys

I'm looking to buy a 2004 Maserati Quattroporte. However, I have read in several forums that there can be issues with the torque tube rattling at hi revs. I also understand that these can be expensive to replace for these models. I really love the look of this car and the ones I have test driven are like a dream to drive. Before I part with my cash, has anyone experienced torque tube issues with their Quattroporte? Is it a common issue? Any help would be appreciated.

Best regards

Richard

Hi Richard, its not one I have come across but I am a coupe man not a QP.

I am sure a QP owner will be along shortly, best to get an independent inspection that way you can be sure your not buying a lemon.

Not a problem I have experienced with my '04 duo select QP Richard, I bought the car just over 4 years ago with just under 37,000 miles, now on 57,000.
