I have thoroughly enjoyed this car but a change in circumstances means I have to sell ... too sad but do let me know if you want it ...

Not that I am in the market but would it help you sell if you posted the spec of the car and your history with it?

Lovely combo. Good luck for a fast sale. If need be it might be worth a call to Dicky Grace or Nareman at Nuvola in case they want to sell it for you? You might get a few quid less but it could be am easier sale.

Good advice to call such as Dicky, take away some of the pain. Specs would be good, age, engine, gearbox etc..??

Just picked up mine yesterday... - the GT Sport Auto... in Blue ... the one that was with Junction 17 cars..

I'm very impressed with it..

Yours looks well priced and ought to go like a little hot cake....I know Dicky had a few people chasing his black one..

Good luck..

Best of luck with the sale, the car going out of production might help.

Personally knowing what my car trades for (one year older than yours) I feel that the price is pretty aggressive but I won't complain if you get it!

Just a thought - it says private sale but the pictures are from a dealer. If I was looking for a car that would make me very suspicious and put me off immediately. I'd suggest you do your own photos

I took those when I picked it up and they are readily available on my phone when I posted but thanks point taken

I agree it looks odd to have private sale and then pics in dealership. I'd take some new ones. Good luck.

Bob, it's the latest edition the M145...a 2013MY.. badged as a Sport... aside from a few extra horses, - I believe that brakes, skyhook have all been tweaked, as well as the front end revisions and the interior... But most importantly it has the MC software in the Auto box... See what Dicky Grace had to say about it..in a thread somewhere on here..

It's another step forward from the GTS... perhaps not quite the leap from the 4.2.. but you'd certainly notice the difference.. For what he's asking - that is now the cheapest around I believe.... those with main dealers £75k +...

and had it been around a few weeks ago before I did my deal I'd have been making a very punchy bid for it..

Thanks. I've driven a Sport (albeit an MC Shift) and my observations are not as differential as yours but I am glad you like your car.

FWIW you could get the MC software on the auto GTS as a cost option for it's last two model years and I was not aware that it added to residuals but maybe it does?

Dunno whether it adds to residuals... but I guess we all get a bit nerdy when we've got a purchase in mind.... I think the GTS / Sport thing - for me at least was a - Sum of the parts sort of impression... not just one aspect .. just lots of things a little bit better... reminds me of trying a Gransport after my 4200...

I think - or indeed - hope... that as there's no immediate replacement - and as Maserati haven't covered themselves in glory with the QP replacement and the new Ghibli.. and as we now seem to be in an era of V6's rather than V8's... and as they seem to want to build Alfa's at Modena..... And as the M145 is going to be the final evolution of a terrific design... That that will be the one to have - unless you've the nerve for a Stradale..

I'm pretty sure residuals will be solid for a while for all of these... remember in reality we are talking about very few cars.. relative to other manufacturers..

The GTS has been trading at high forties at three years old which is a reasonable fall from new but thereafter the decline is pretty modest. In reality even the 4.2 (as you know) is not really trading much below £30k unless miles are silly so that is small depreciation for the next five years or so.

The initial drop looks large like on many expensive cars but Maserati has been discounting these cars by a good amount since 2009 so as long as you can go easy with the option list then the depreciation is not silly, or at least that was my excuse when I bought mine!
