I have responded to a local appeal to help make a 16yr olds birthday special, apparently family have nothing and have had recent tragedy / illness, so I am taking a the birthday girl, her mum and brother for a drive and will treat them to coffee and a cake.
Are you a member of the Sporting Bears charity? - that's what we do as well as raising funds for other charities

Morning from a grey far south east corner of Germany - despite all we are taking a little tour towards Salzburg and check out its countryside with maybe a little detour up the Gaisberg from where I gather there are stunning views.
PS @philw696 - you missed out the 'and girls' but I'll forgive as I'm learning to drive like a boy;)

Morning boys most of yesterday was spent outside and more of the same today it's just beautiful.
Managed to get a few more cassette tapes for the Jaguar too and even though they are obviously a few years old they play perfectly and we came home with Rod Stewart on :)
Have a Great Sunday all.
You need to go native and get some Charles Aznervour, Edith Piaf and accordian tapes April!

Morning all, another day keeping teenagers fed and happy although to be honest they have been quite helpful. They seem to think Dad is incompetent and unless they help out they won't get fed or even worse will have to wear their old clothes as I haven't washed the "right" ones - I think I will let them hold those thoughts

So a Motor racing day then, although I do have a Lego kit to finish too

Good morning everyone, attending the place of work, making sure Newton comes home...otherwise i won't hear the end of it...in fact he just landed now...job done! Can I go home now?
Martin is so efficient, he even checked the practice run I organised for this morning. We will be there 24hrs time, same flight number.

Morning all, last and short day in DR, down to the beach first, breakfast on the beach and a last few swims before clearing the room and check out. After lunch. Sounds like hard work. An evening flight should help the body clock snap back.

Have fun all…

I think we might need a lazy bugger's 'good afternoon thread'...!

Just received a copy of Thillainathan Pathmanathan's recently published Countach book in which I got a small credit, it's weird seeing your name in print in a proper book!

Morning all.
Seems like it's going to be a nice day - I think I'll have a little run down to Hampshire....

Oh, and this gives me an 'excuse' to brag that early copies of MrsMarkMas's second book (non-fiction business book) arrived from the printer yesterday. I got a credit for doing the diagrams this time.

Morning all at this unearthly hour, even in Europe but it's time to start heading for home - even as a blast it's a 10hour run to Calais so we're doing our usual, today at least, and taking it a bit more leisurely and exploring the south east side of Germany next to the Austrian then Czech Republic - map says "could be fun".
