Good morning everyone, day off but a sad day, funeral for my 95 year old Aunt Agnes (as in that storm! So apt).

She was a pioneer, one of the first women to graduate from the Open University with a BSc in Engineering whilst bringing up 4 kids and following Uncle Lewis round Persia. Taught me a bit about computers in the 80s with her home IBM computer and Commodore PET. Still bright to the end, but very frail.

Morning, all and welcome back to the wild, wild west Newton. Condolences to you and your family, Martin and best wishes for a speedy recovery to Rob. And of course love and admiration for the rest of the lot. More of the same today, with another evening on the stump, as it were...

Have fun all…

Morning, you filthy rabble. Apparently some of the people I was out on the tiles with on Friday are sick with covid so will be staying away from the office. Best outcome from all the covid dramas is that now when people have colds and flu they stay away from other people. Finally. common sense and courtesy have triumphed over sticky, sneezy, attempts at heroism. Hurrah!

Morning all - and the sun is up with last night's rain/storm leaving beautiful valley mists. Today may involve two feet walking up a mountain for a stunning view and then perhaps a small tobogan run - but some driving will be required.

Good morning everyone, back to reality and work today. Yesterday was both sad and fun, getting to know more about the more distant cousins and working out how many 'removes' they are.. etc.

Morning, all and more of the same. Meeting ended at 8p last night, came home and made dinner...and passed out. Will repeat tonight.

Morning all, Cptn Temp-Leftpondian signing in. Nothing new here, I keep trying to clear the food in the dining places an like the alcohol it just keeps getting replaced!

Rob update: He is sounding more like himself on WhatsApp and although still in hospital they have moved him to a new ward (probably with restraints on the bed to stop him groping the nurses!) and hopefully getting some oxygen into him will assist greatly.

Have fun all…

Good morning - and it's an early start as we leave Fussen and head about 100 miles west 30 miles short of Salzburg for 4 days of exploring. Time flies when you're having fun - and the area is generating so much fun

Morning all, well done Andy now can you just pop over to Dublin and sort out the **** show of DHL that we have, to be honest not wholly DHLs issue as it is some sort of joint venture which seems to work for neither of us.
Anyway Mrs Z off to the UK for a few days leaving me at home with the kids, this could be good or bad time will see ;)
