Finally got my car back from Giallo. Although driving back on the M20 (to avoid snowless back roads) was a bit hairy with a sideways moment caused by slush! But she’s finally home!

Trying to get to the office this morning. Not sure if I can get Mrs Catman's 147 out, but we shall see. Managed to get the car separated yesterday, with a *lot* a nerves and adrenaline. I think there must have been about 5mm clearance as it crabbed sideways again.

Still all's well.

Have a great day, all

Morning,

Just about settled into the new house. Wasn't bothered about the drive having a slope until the ice brought home the realities of it. Just need to be careful in and out.

No snow here, despite yellow warnings whatever they are. Still there is enough ice on our street to make life interesting.

Have a great day all

Go for it Andy, different direction is another string to your bow, if it doesn't work, revert back.
Morning Forum, in early to beat the lunatics, took my boss over 2 hours to get in yesterday.
Have a good one,
Dave

Morning all, 2 of the children's schools have reopened just one remains shut because the poor teachers can't get in - madness we drove to Manchester and back yesterday with no problems

After the daft cancellation of Alex’s test yesterday, nothing surprises me Andy. Morning all, glad I was able to make yesterday an office day but I need to crack on this morning.

Have fun all...

Morning. It looks like we evaded the snow but a hard freeze over night. Slip sliddy on the school run this morning.

Think I'll Sorn the Strad today, a few jobs to do once the spanners warm up a bit.

Upper front wishbone bushes and I have a leaky actuator that I've been nursing a while. Nothing too serious I think, pots have become contaminated with fluid and a new seal.

Morning all.

Busy morning before getting into the office already. Defrosted two cars, and got the Maser out the garage (bins have to go out via the garage). I did have the intention of washing the salt off of it this morning from yesterdays drive back but the hose pipe is frozen.
Thought about taking the Maser to work, then was persuaded by Alex that it was a bad idea driving a big ole supercar on icy roads. She might be right.

Great picture Phil...Especially as you can still see the red....

I repainted the red with humbrol enamel paint on both side tridents and the front one at the same time as doing the Tricolor on the grille vents. Happy with how it has come up really, it's a once a year job now to touch them up and keep them resplendent.

Did the same with an Alfa Rosso touch up paint stick.

Clean, flood in the recess and wipe the excess off with your finger...perfect finish :)

After my experience on Sunday, unless you've got snow tyres, she's right.

Well it took four of us to get one car out on the road for Uncle Dick to pick up for a service. Blasted BMW X1 automatic. Chronic to zero grip.

Very pretty, but won't be moving any of the other cars

Morning, woke up early.

Day off today, mount the Xmas tree (ohhh errr) and hang the outside lights up then the rest of the day is my own.

It’s too cold to play on the spanner’s so I’ll probably have a lazy day as I am waiting for parts (tdc sensor) for the Brera.

Morning everyone,

6am train for me this morning, but will finish just after 12, followed by lunch at MASH, then an afternoon drinking. Tough life....

Have a great Wednesday!
