No not everyday Andy....Not if it was the day my 156 didn't like its Selespeed gearbox anymore or when my Brera decided it wanted to dump it's coolant in the engine......So no smiles those days......

Anyway good morning all....Two days to go before a week and half off......Heading to a place outside Venice on the other side of the water. Can't wait now.

Morning,

Early start at work today, big deadline looming just after the bank holiday and trying not to have to work on it. Quick blast down to Sheffield last night. The Howden road is so much fun. Got a wave from my boss as I blasted past him :D

What to do today? :D Work and sit in the sun for sure. It's glorious out there must remind myself to go away somewhere tropical each may for a couple of weeks then come back to the UK around this time for sunny weather as it just extends the summer.

Im loving this weather, if only io could be in the Alfa for work instead of the Merc/Renault creation......

Easy one today, no appointments so air con and some meets and thats it......lack of sleep last night.....too hot

Morning everyone!
Today was my quickest cycle commute for a very long time, and it was lovely in the sunshine. I'm hoping the boss gives me tomorrow off - I looked at the weather forecase yesterday and decided Friday would be a good day to take off!

I had a day off yesterday and loved it......went to The 02 in Finchley Road and had some lunch while i waited for Optimax to give me a consultation for laser eye surgery

Anyone here with any advice for laser eye surgery? Hate wearing contacts

Personally I don't fancy it. You only get the two eyes.

I wear Biofinity lenses. I put them in on Sunday morning and take them out on Saturday night. It's 1000 on Thursday, they are a month old and I can't feel them *at all*

I barely use any solution as I just get a new pair every month. All in £21 per month from my optician to include as many eye checks as I need (or want if I think there's a problem) and the lenses and solutions.

Morning all.

I woke up in my own bed this morning. Lovely!

Bit of a slow start as am completely knackered after the last few weeks of traveling. Over 4,000 miles driven in 19 days!
Today will raining involve getting through the mountain of work I have.

Dam - With regards the eye surgery, don't go for the cheapest option.
Get the best you can afford. Alex had hers done 'cheaply' with Optical Express about 7 years ago and now she has to wear glasses.

I'm looking to get my eyes zapped later this year so be interested in what you go for.

A few mates have had their eyes done at Ultralase with excellent results, so I will probably go with them.

I have been to Optimax Mark, they are big around the country with a few branches....not cheap but they offer 0% instalments so it works for me.....

They told me i qualify for the top of the range surgery which is called Lasik and its virtually painless.....they did say that any type of laser surgery could result in wearing reading glasses in your mid 40s.....no surgery prevents that apparently but should still have "driving standard" eyesight for life
