Morning all; valentines reality struck home... I got home 22.00 to jeanette asleep and snoring, I had a little indigestion and struggled to get comfortable, the snoring got louder and louder, at 05.00 having not had any sleep I stomped off to one of the spare beds; so romantic!

So a lazy day is in order, I'm hard wiring in a pair of DIN welder sockets into the back of the Volvo so I can have short tails on the swager for when it is in the back and I can use my 10m extension cables when I need to use it out of the vehicle for repairs. Then some reports later to do.

Morning all,

Woken by banging from the pub this morning. Its ok them doing work, and I understand its best outside their opening hours, but before 8:00 am? Surely there's a law against that. Still it stopped me over sleeping.

Took a slightly different route back from the class yesterday to get on some different minor roads. Sport mode, sport suspension, and a nice 30 minute blast turning cash into noise. As I was coming back into the village going through the 20 zone I got some appreciative looks from young and old. Looking forward to a few longer trips as the weather improves.

Power sockets installed in the Volvo for the rope machine: hard wired using welding sockets so I can use my 10m extension cables if I want to move the machine nearer the repair than I can get the car...
