Good morning from Aarhus, not up yet but I believe it to be -2. I've clearly come here at the wrong end of the year. Apparently it's going to be the European capital of cultural in 53 days time... So this place must be as thrilling as Hull.
Have a good week.

Some great restaurants and bars around the town square and along the water - student town with lots of atmosphere, I think you might enjoy your evenings!

Morning all. Some good news emails in my inbox first thing, so a positive start to the week.
Hopefully it will be a good one, and I might even get the Maser back is Maserati have sorted their IT issues out.

Have a good one all.

Afternoon all, another silly o'clock start to get a job done in Bury St. Edmunds as I have a funeral to go to later for a biker friend of mine who ran out of air! COPD/angina and a whole load of other things from a very misspent youth caught up with him in the end, he made 63 which was a lot more than any of us expected TBH!

Got a motorbike (sidecar) hearse to deliver him, a bike convoy and a few nice cars so the Mas is out and joining in.

Have fun all...

I am still alive. Just. Travelling too much. Been ill (cold) for a lot of the time. Too little sleep I guess. Taking a flight when you are ill is painful. Now I have landed my sinuses are all blocked and I can't hear a thing and I don't think anyone can hear me either.

With reference to BA business class - I refuse to take them. The amount you pay for the quality you get is diabolical. For the same price I can fly first on Quantas or Emirates and you don't get those silly cramped seats where you face your neighbour.

In fact a lot of business class flights are equivalent to BA's first.

I hate flying now regardless of class.

Anyway good morning - You can tell I am in a foul mood.

Morning all,

Freezing fog outside this morning. Glad I'm working from home.

Hope it clears for the Italian class this afternoon and the trip over to Leeds for the Levante launch later.

Have a good day all.

Good morning, it's minus five degrees here and it doesn't seem it. No frost or gritted roads, just dry cold. Thanks Drew for the tip, unfortunately beer is £8 a pint equivalent. still the views are nice...

Morning all, Alex was leaving to go to work when he realised his insurance on the 125 has run out! He has his test next week (part 3 of A2) and is holding off so he can insure the BMW, this means he is on the train for the next week and a bit. I'm local today but I drove over 400 miles yesterday, most of them in the Mas!

Have fun all...

I like BA Club World, just put the screen up straight away and there's no privacy issues. Or take a middle section seat if you want to be closer to your neighbour :D

Flying, the more I do it the more I hate it.

Morning!
I do find this frost very pretty, particularly now the sunshine is trying to sneak through the almost shed trees to throw a golden patina across the garden.
Off to Canterbury soon, so I guess I should have some more tea.
Happy Tuesday!

The problem in the middle is if you want to get out you have to climb over the person next to you that is always lying flat.

Why not pay a lot less and fly business on another airline that has half the number of seats?

Below my two cases. BA vs someone like Quantas.

All to do with frequent flyer programs for me. I also do alot of short haul in Europe and Qantas or Emirates have very little in the way of short haul stuff so it's a limited market. BA Silver for last ten years with Gold a couple of those years means excellent lounge access from T5 etc and just like being loyal to BA who have been good to me. I thing Executive club is one of THE best airline loyalty clubs and offers great benefits with Avios etc...

Fair enough. I am flying so much now I am gold on nearly every major airline!

I try and keep it in the one world alliance so I get some avios but to be honest I have never managed to use them to great effect.

I used to fly virgin a lot. Collected a load of points then realised it was actually cheaper buying a economy ticket rather than getting a full fare ticket for free and paying the taxes.

Maybe I need to learn about how to play the Avios system a bit more.

Morning all. Bit chilly out there. My black Merc is now white. Will have to de-frost it before going out in a bit.

Not much else to report.

As you were!
