Old school Matt, used to love setting up the carbs on 400/4 Hondas and the like with my pork sausage fingers! Very satisfying when you can iron out flat spots, misfires and starting issues (400/4's were notoriously bad cold starters).

Amazing what you can do with a length of heater hose setting up carbs.
Still got my Dwell meter and timing light.

Good morning everyone, it's a cloud but still a warm start here in Oslo. Day one of a course which should be fun.
The hotel is a Raddison Blu and quite comfortable and from my 23rd floor room I can see something that you'll never see in England maybe the UK, a ski-jump! I won't be giving that a go!

Morning all,

Lovely start to the day here. Breakfast in the garden. Going to be tricky to drag myself to the office to start working.

Morning all. Last day in Rye for us. Some terrible news that you all probably saw on the news, 3 people got into trouble on the beach yesterday and one died others are critical. We had to observe the whole thing right in front of us. Poor lad was only 19. Riptide apparently.

That's pretty awful mate. Sorry to hear that.

Stay safe!

Im struggling to motivate myself for work. I really wish I broke up for summer holidays as well.

That is pretty horrific Matt, make sure you talk to your kids about it or it can fester in their minds.

I have a week of 'Oop North' starting with taking my mum home to Buxton later after I get another two new tyres on the 156! Really need to get all the bushes changed as it takes the inner wall down to can we right on the edge of the tread.

Have fun all...

morning guys, back in work after a fab week off, had a bit of a duel with a new Volvo and a pensioner driver, he was tailgating me so I slowed down, I was doing 70ish he then undertook me, I was a tad naughty and sped up to make it difficult for him hehe....I flashed him and he was going nuts, he hit the brakes in front of me, good job I was alert for a change then commenced to gesticulate at 40mph on the outside lane of the dual carriageway, swerving into the middle so I couldn't get passed, not that I wanted to as I don't undertake so I stayed on his tail , blowing him kisses and pretending to take a photo of him, when he saw the phone he tried to speed away but I stayed with him until the roundabout then blew him a big kiss and took another photo of his face, or so he thought, I do love a bit of conflict on a Monday morning lol

Morning all. Last day in Ibiza. Well until 5 this afternoon. And it's a scorcher!

Only 2 weeks until my next jolly. This time to Gran Canaria.

Reality will strike with a bump tomorrow me thinks.

Oslo is one of only two cities where I've been for work and liked so much that I want to go back on holiday. 23rd floor must give fantastic views over the archipelago.
