Morning all, pee-ing down here following the realisation of what we have done, coincidence?

Driving Mrs MLC up to LGW for her girly trip with Goose aka Mrs Maverick. I'm on shift the following day so I might as well stay up there, so I have both keys with me. (for any potential thief reading this).

Morning (as I've not yet had lunch) all!

Just leaving Bournemouth on a train back to Oxford after dropping Myfanwy off at Emblem. They clearly have a maser week coming up!

Great news on the apprenticeship. As someone with a generally considered pretty good university education, and degree that I really did need to do the job I now have, I must say that I completely agree with many of the sentiments. Learning by doing, trying and learning from it is so important.

Hopefully it won't be raining when I get home, so can weed the wilderness around my roses and cut the meadow back into a lawn.

I didn't do particularly well in my GCSE's or A-Levels but it didn't matter a jot. I've never needed even a single GCSE for any job I have ever had and likely never will. Possibly slightly uncommon but just goes to show a reasonably solid/rounded basic education & hard graft/applicatuon/will/desire can go a bit further often than bits of paper or certificates.

Progress, of a sort. Rear wheels no longer orange and freshly slathered with Poorboys. Rain peeing down has stopped play, but not before I had cut the grass. Assuming the rain stop all wheels should be back to normal quite soon.

Morning all,

From the Lingotto. Going to take a trip to the roof this morning but no Italian Job jumps will be attempted.

If possible I'll track down the UK GT3 and Lambo owners that appear have got lost of the way back from Le Mans.

Bloody cat brought a young magpie into the kitchen earlier, usual 50 + others came to its aid but the cat had injured it too badly by the time I got to it, put it out on the Patio but it was not able to fly so I dispatched it with dignity.

off to the youngest's rugby training in a bit with both dogs for the first time, will see how that goes.

Got sod all done yesterday except the scrap yard as I feel horrible with this sore throat that has gone through most of the family now.

Have fun all...

Unpacked?

My clothes are washed. But my other stuff is still in my bag. Need to empty and repack it today as I am leaving on Wednesday morning again to meet up with my wife and baby in the US.

Been weird not seeing them for almost a month.
