Morning all...

Crisp sunny start to the day here :) skiing in the morning, then cycling in the valley this afternoon. Think I'll bring the Spyder out here in a few weeks :)

Morning Drew...sounds like the perfect morning.....That trip in the Spyder is what the car was made to do....Roof down through the mountains...perfect.

Morning all.......My mower broke down yesterday....so I have a half cut lawn. Think it needs a service and oil change as the spark plug is caked in black and there is black smoke coming out of her.

Hi Guys

I love you all, the reason I love the forum is its not just "another" forum it is a place where everyone helps each other out and some of my best friends are from here.

I see things a little clearer now, I don't care about her its all about my little one and trying to keep my house.
She is welcome to the life she is going for, if she thinks its greener, then go have a look......

My solicitor is dealing with the child access issues and I have started the ball rolling with regards to buying her share of the house......

I want to thank you all for your support, im hoping ot be back on here asap as I have missed the banter

P.S I got a car on Saturday, I needed a little runaorund that can also do the odd motorway trip and here it is.....

View attachment 27127

I picked it up from Oxford, went to a friends to stay the night in Birmingham and the next day went to Nottingham.....did 250 miles return in 24 hours and what fun!! did comfy speeds on the M1 and, I know you will all laugh at this but, in "sport" mode it makes a lovely sound....will bring it to Ace and let you have a laugh in it.

Thank you for everything guys!!
5 years ago I had the same stuff thrown at me and got dropped from a great hight. How life turns around I'm getting married this year and I drive a Maserati. Life changes and gives us chalanges but when you come out the other end it makes you a better person. So chin up you drive an Italian car.

Beautiful sunny Sunday morning to you all. Facing the biggest challenge of the week, need to wash the nippers hair today - would rather be bathing a tub full of rabid Alsatians fighting angry minks.

Beautiful sunny Sunday morning to you all. Facing the biggest challenge of the week, need to wash the nippers hair today - would rather be bathing a tub full of rabid Alsatians fighting angry minks.

Easy follow the following steps:-

1. Fill bath with water
2. Grab nipper by ankles and slowly lower head into bath
3. Remove screaming nipper from bath and add some cold water to bring the temperature down.
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 until screaming subsides.
5. Tie nipper by ankles to the washing line or outside balcony if no washing line available
6. Wait for screaming to subside and nippers hair should be dried.

Alternative Step 5 - Strap nipper into car seat in Maserati Spyder and go for a quick blast

Assuming the neighbours don't contact social services nipper should have clean dry hair and further more will refuse to talk to you for a week or two :)

Office on a sunday Nikos? Sacrilege!

Nice day out in Highworth watching some lads play American Football yesterday. Then first BBQ of the year which went down well! Early night and having breakfast now, might find time for a quick run to blow the cobwebs away. Have a fun day all!

Morning all,

Chris, yes I get hundreds of figs from it most years but it had got too big recently so I've taken out the two main limbs and ther are no immediate replacements so I don't expect much fruit this year. Love fresh figs but it is such a short season in the UK.

Had a real result yesterday as reported on SportsAlfa:

Just had a Call from Duncan who made a start on the engine swap this evening but on driving it into the unit he thought it a little strange and did some diagnostics....

It turns out the balance shaft has a siezed bearing!!! He cut the belt off and it runs as quiet as anything! Seems my big end fix has worked and this is coincidental! So no engine swap needed, a new bearing in the balance shaft and a full set of belts and we are there!!!

So I have a spare 2.0 twin spark with 43k and a service history if anyone needs one!

Great outcome indeed....

Off to rugby in a minute .

Have fun all...

Certainly perfect for Spyder driving, but it's too hot for skiing now... Gave up before lunch. Next weekend will be wearing t-shirt and a fleece, rather than the full ski gear.

Mowers... I might be able to help you there. Only 15 minutes ago I was mentioning to Susie that I needed to get the spare mowers on eBay....
