Perhaps Mrs W could look at a nice new garage while she's ideal at The Ideal Home show. For me an ideal home is one with a bloody great big heated garage. Which is something I don't have.

Morning all, up late as driving up to Manchester soon for a surprise birthday party. Weather a tad grim but all good as I took the Maser for a spin last night and in the wet with no ABS it needs lightning reaction to catch it. Does make you feel like a driving god when you control oversteer and catch it with a "dab of oppo" , love RWD cars with big power and the 3200 is a proper drift machine in the right hands. Shall I fit this new ABS module or just live with it? :)

Funnily enough she is not adverse to me extending it - As I have my gym in there at the moment-Cant really make it wider though as its joined to next doors and in line with the rear of the house.

Follow Putin's example and extend you garage into your neighbour's house, to ensure their safety and freedom from tyranny. Imagine their joy at having your Maserati parked in their living room. They'll be quite appreciative of how much you care for their wellbeing.

Lol - I actually think my neighbour would be happy - up until recently he had a Gilbern which he had from new, he had stripped it and completly rebuilt on a number of occasions. Has a lathe and milling machine in his "extended garage" with which he used to make bits you could no longer get, Sadly he had to sell through ill health. I used to love hearing that start up and burble.

You see - you'd be doing him a favour!

Morning all, spent all yesterday building my 8x5m 3-bay carport. Managed to avoid all the rain, but it's lashing down now. Just the roof and gutter to fit today.... Going to need a hat & coat.
We struggled with the weight of the timber though - could have done with more than two of us!

Morning all.

After a very nice day on the sofa yesterday, I have a day of house jobs to do.

Time off to watch the GP though, c'mon Lewis, don't feck it up!

Saints playing Villa away on Monday, 3 points please!

Lashing it down... Got to go finish the self closing mechanism on the gate. I've made a weight and arms up so I can hang it in a plastic pipe so now kids are harmed.

Then later I hopefully can dry out, may even get to see the GP final. Got a little red book I have several pages to learn in the next couple of days.

Have fun all...

Early start this morning kids on the indoor ski slope having lessons. It's amazing to see them jump out of bed at 6:30 on a Sunday morning when they know they are going skiing!
The Mrs will be recovering down in Brixton after seeing Carter USM last ever gig last night!

Good Morning all. It's raining here too but I'll have to bear it later. Off to MK shopping with my wife then back here for a slob day.
