Well I didn't get to finish the induction or even wash the car yesterday so she is still sporting her Modena film. I did get to take her and Jeanette out last night to Broomfield and enjoyed an enthusiastic run was u way :)

Off to see Aldous this morning.

Well the new IOS is pants for predictive text.

Morning all. Washing the detritus from the GS to make her all shinny again.

Newton, do explain? I ordered the iPhone 6 plus yesterday, I must say I am a bit nervous about this bending thing but always look after my phone and have it fully insured.

Morning all

My iPhone 6 on order not overly bothered about the bendy stories. Looks like Apple are taking some time to sort out the iOS 8 issues. 8.0 seems fine and predictive text works once you get you head round what it's doing but I think I will wait for the later versions to settle as I know a few friends who have tried 8.01 & 8.02 and all have had issues.

One thing I've noticed with iOS 8 is that tapatalk notifications and thread subscriptions are erratic. Also when searching my 5s doesn't come up with suggestions like it used to.
Re the bending, a lot of the you tube complainers are a bit on the large side and as someone said, do they really need to put a sticker on them saying "don't sit on your phone"?
Also they don't survive blenders...

Nice girl but she makes a lousy breakfast; runny eggs and cold coffee. I doubt I'll be going back.

Well with my advancing years and early eyesight degradation I find I have to view the forum for example in landscape or my arms are not long enough! To type a response I also need the landscape keyboard or my pork sausage fingers just can't work it. Now they have added the big bar of predictive words over the keyboard, you cannot see what you are typing on the forum reply bar :( Try it and you will see; I have the same issue with my bank and other websites!

Anyone know how to turn off the predictive bar?

Happy Sunday, everyone. Quiet weekend here. Quite fancied a thrash in the Italian but I'm too knackered for spirited driving, and that's the only sort I fancy. Hopefully sitting in the garden with a cup of tea and a catch of up SM on the iPad doesn't denote early-onset middle age.

Perhaps I'll give that Kelly Brook a shout. But I'll follow Ben's advice and be gone by breakfast.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, everyone.
