Good Morning All,
Nice 25 degC here today, a bit hazy and then sun on and off, virtually finished waxing GS and have a barbie this afternoon, also collecting a mate to go to Silverstone..!! So I had better get cracking on..!!
Drew, glad you are feeling slightly better, hopefully see you Sunday..??
Frank, hope the Lancia move goes smoothly, heart in your mouth stuff..??
Nikos, have a great Birthday tomorrow mate and enjoy your party tonight..!!

Have a good one whatever you are doing and of course, if you can....go fast..!!
Cheers

On my way home after a very enlightening morning at Emblem in Poole. Tim and his dad run a tight ship down there and Darren knows his Maseratis. Some gorgeous cars in to look at and listen to. Car clinic went well, a few small surprises but nothing worrying that wasn't rectified on the spot. I would highly recommend all of you to go do the same. Total cost - zero; total gain - quite a lot for someone like me.

Actually Robert, I'm feeling immensely better today, thank you :)

There was no question of me not going to Silverstone, just that I might not be doing the driving. Will see you on Sunday :)

Well, that's the glass, leather, and washing done.

Waiting for the sun to move off for wax and polish and final vacuum

Got to sleep around 3 am and have just finished getting the computer how I want it including quietening the fans down... not silent but at least 2/3 quieter than they were; ironically the answer is going to be to add more fans so the air moves better in the way I want it too. Modern motherboards it seems can manage the speed of all the fans so more of them can run more slowly if that makes sense!

Anyway it is 6 years since I did the last full on build of my office computer, it doubles as the household server too so it is running constantly. Its predecessor had just become too unreliable and I've lost probably a week to restoring the systems from crashes in the last 6 months.

Feeling tired now but much catching up to do... What weekend???

Morning all...relaxing day at home for me in the garden by the pond...fish seem rather manic...must be their breading hormones.

Girlfriend said I could have gone to Silverstone and left her relaxing...now she tells me!!!.

Have a great day at Silverstone, hope to see lots of pics. I'm off for a well deserved break but am sure I'll still be on here at some point.
