Lovely I am toying with the idea of some PMC Fact 8's. The new sitting room hasn't gone quite to plan hi-fi wise, I have a pair of rebuilt Apogee Duetta Signatures in the garage but they are too big for the room and my Yamaha NS1000M's are past their best I feel......

I'm very friendly with the family that own LINN Hi-Fi. Actually their factory is about half a mile from my house. It's a lot of fun hearing what they are up to.

I used to be a Linn owner had an LP12 etc.,.. but some years ago after having had a pair of Linn speakers on home demonstration and liking them I ordered a new pair. After allowing for running them in, they never sounded right and nowhere near as good as the demo pair. The dealer agreed they were not right but Linn refused to change them and after much aggro with Linn the dealer gave me a refund. After that I sold all my Linn stuff, and my dad did too so refusing to change those speakers cost them 20+ years of my families business.

Fill me in Drew.....going to see what?

Will post photos when I get back to Geneva... It was the start of a historic rally (drinking & eating session) with loads of beautiful old cars. Photos of Masers and Alfas to follow. Exchanged biz cards with a Dutch Maser driver keen on meeting up with us in Modena, along with his mates... The numbers swell :) Talking of Modena - just had a cracking meal on the main square, and started negotiating a deal for us to have all our cars in the piazza Friday night, when the factory tour has left. Any takers for that?

Morning everyone. Made a big step in finishing the renovation of my new office yesterday. This weekend it should look nice :)

It's Blox's birthday today, where has he been lost? Hope you're well mate.

And...one quick question... EBC redstuff for the 4200 are DP3612C or DP31032C?

Have a good day all.

Morning Nikos, morning all. Friday already!

Personally I would not buy Redstuff after bad experiance with them. Benny says yellowstuff are really good so I would try them.

Morning Matt. I can remember Benny's review about the red. I used red in the saab whcih were amazing, tried once the yellows, but they were cr@p.

I am told that in later years they improved the compound of both pads. So it needs a bit of serious search, before buying.

Morning all.

Good luck with your office, Nikos.

Have some important calls this morning for which I need to be get fully prepared. Not sure there's enough coffee in the house for that!

Have a good one, everyone.

Busy busy busy in the world of business this morning. Hope the trip was a success, Robert; hope the office looks good, Nikos - nice relaxing new place to operate from; preparation and coffee is key, Adam...lots of both.

I'm hoping to hear that some recent meetings with new prospects were successful. I have a call at 10 with one of them, and it's looking interesting if it happens.

May book a ferry to take the nipper over to France next week...visit his grandparents.
