Morning all, woke with intense hayfever today, the French pollen is of course different, so there's no natural defence.

Nikos, Easter for us is this weekend, same as you - Good Friday today, and Easter Monday on errr Monday! Both are public holidays.

Morning all. Heading home today from Dorset, had a lovely few days away in the sunshine. I still get the benefit of the long weekend so will be doing much car cleaning & polishing after I collect the new hack tomorrow.

Morning all. This early bird was something of a night owl. Bloody good time in the pub with some of my team.

Today I shall be mostly washing and waxing my car I think, with Mrs Catman's 147 lined up for tomorrow. I need some snow foam stuff, as that sand is just not shifting.

Have a great day, all

Another airport terminal wait.... Only a short flight though, bag drop was much better here than LTN.

I'd definitely return to Budapest as a short city break, parts are quite cosmopolitan, the part where the site was (Secktor 19) wasn't!

It grew on me over the week, the people I met were very nice but oddly I didn't get any of the language, I say odd because I never leant Italian but I can follow a conversation and at least have a grasp of what is being said. Ditto German, French and after a couple of days even Greek (which I did learn a bit).

Been to see a house this morning.

Well, I say house, but it turned out to be an old hotel, right at the end of a mountain road, HIGH in the hills... The estate agent stressed how quiet and tranquil it was, with no traffic. No kidding... The building was vast, had 6 bedrooms already, an entire floor to be finished (same size as the bedroom floor), and easily needed 500k spending on it to turn it into a usable home. Errrr no.

On the plus side, it had a fantastic garage - built into the hillside, there was access on the lower level, and another car on the upper level from the other side. Each space was large enough for two cars, plus workbenches, storage and side rooms - electric doors on the lower level, huge wooden doors on the upper. I liked the garage :)
