Just watched it, they waffled on quite a bit about some of the rubbish that British manufacture's built in the day..

Take the Aston Martin DB4 for example, they look great but drive like tractors E types ain't much better either

A nice little Italian made Alfa Romeo Sprint GT would eat the lot for breakfast! they didn't mention that though ;)

Got it recorded, VBH is actually quite nice when you meet her she is god mother to one of our girls friends and we bump into her quite often at summer BBQs etc.

I have heard this from one of the drivers on 'So you want to be a Grand Prix driver'

Watched it on CH5+1 last night after seeing this thread start. We both quite enjoyed it. It was lightweight and predictable but nice to see some of the cars all the same.

Not the best format - loads of Z-listers offering opinions and memories, not really much about the cars and history around them.

I watched TG at noon on Dave to see a young James May test the QP
It was a white duo select model. He did not like the flappys and thought the Auto mode was not too good either.
This was around town in Italy. Then he went on the roads that make up Targa Florio and thought it was wonderful
Back in the stuidio he said he would not buy one but would opt for an XF.
Throughout though he kept referring to Maserati heritage and the real meaning of owning a Maserati and how the blood line had not been tainted by diesels and accountants!
Not sure of the year this was made but times do indeed change
All in all a decent review
