There was an incident recently of a lorry driving the wrong way up the M20 near me.

Doesn't surprise me tbh.

Last Monday on the way over to Hitchin in the spyder, I was following a van on a Dual carriageway approaching the brow of a hill. I wasn't in a hurry so I sat behind him doing about 55-60mph. As we came the top of the hill an Audi passed us head on at about 70, on our side! What a tw4t. Had I overtaken the van it is very doubtful I would be here today. Remember guys, the idiots are out there trying to kill us.

Jeez, that was in slow motion, some of the cars spun and stopped in their own length! I didn't realise just how sh!te VW Beetles were, even back then.

Shows how much car and track safety has come in the last 40 years. I don't fancy the chances of the chap who fell out of the window at 3:29. Even Nurofen Plus might not quite set him straight.

In 1986 I had a Granada 2.8i or it might have been 2.9i can't remember, jellymould one, I do remember it was one of the first cars to have ABS as standard, a major safety improvement.

What it didn't have was seat belts in the back, they were an option

Watched Parts 1-3 of the 1970 compilation and then watched a 2015 crash compilation; much much faster in every way but almost entirely overseer induced spins into the barriers and not a single rolled car, that is probably the most noticeable differences... Combined with passenger cell technology and seatbelts.

Yeah, I got sucked into the same temptation, Newton! It was the amount of stuff that fell out of and off the old cars which amazed me. Like they were held together with really cr4p glue.

Come to Dorset, where every crash includes a rolled car. Even solo accidents on a straight Road, honesty the driving is abysmal round here.
