I've got this , a fossil of one of the oldest things on the planet , my wife wanted to use it as a stepping stone in the garden

It is, and I mean this in all sincerity, a rock....

Still it's, old
I’m in India at the moment. (Not with Boris I hasten to add). But they still use the Codd bottle out here for soda. I had a lemon soda made using these bottles. Let me know if you need any bringing back.I found these in Little Wilbraham near Cambridge, not valuable but interesting how in clean flowing water they have kept well for over 100 years.
The one with a dog emblem is a Codd bottle invented by Hiram Codd, it has the marble in it which was pressurised to the top with a rubber sealing ring, a short stick would've been supplied with it to push the marble out the way to release the aerated water. Quite convoluted for a drink of water back then.
The greenish bottle with coat of arms and Eastern European writing emblazoned on it is a Zara bottle which would've come here from Croatia from the 19th century.

Hard to believe Koz they’re still in use. You would think the manufacture of a plastic bottle would be much more cost effective than a Codd to make.I’m in India at the moment. Yeah, but a rock with a dead tapeworm in it. So that's nice.
