That annoying rattle

Chaps..please have a listen to that and let me know if that reminds you of any rattle of your car and how you fixed it.

Hmmm, might be an auxiliary belt idler pulley. What sort of circumstances?

anytime when car's not moving. I presume it is what you say or something that has to do with the CO collector. On the other hand, the belt has 70k kms on but is in very good condition.Besides, this rattle was there even when i bough it at 30k kms.

I think it would be good to mention where the sound was recorded. Were you sitting in the car or standing in front of the car? Bonnet open or closed?

I was sitting at the driver's seat (LHD) and my hand was at the chassis level. But the noise comes from the inner of the right wing.

If the engine is cold, it's possible it could be the Oil Pressure Tank for the Variators..!! Not easy from the recording to be sure, it could even be the exhaust tapping on something..?? Can you get it on a ramp, or locate under the bonnet..?? If you think it's engine, try a long screwdriver on the engine and the other end pressed up against your ear, keep moving the scewdriver around until you pick up the noise clearly..!!

Rattle is from cold to hot, and can be heard only when rpms are 1000 = car still. I have it checked next Friday and see what happens.
