I have been a member of the forum for some time now but have not posted many threads . I have had plenty of issues with my Spyder but my first port of call when an issue occurs is to trawl through the previous posts in the forum .In most cases I have found the relevant info that helped me to either rectify the concern or be pointed in the direction of somone who can help , so no need raising the issue again
As I visit the forum on a daily basis it also gives me an insight as to what other things that could cause concern that have not already happened.
I thought is was time that I thanked all for their past and continued input as it has helped my tremendously .

Thanks Alex, its good to know we are of help. You see, we have all been driving these cars for years now, I am on my 4th Maserati and on balance, they are very reliable, but when they do go wrong, its usually something we have seen before.

I dont know what area of the UK you reside in, but you should try and attend one of the forum meets, we are a friendly bunch, we dont bite.

The meets are a little thin at the moment due to the winter, but come spring there will be many, ranging from local cafe meets, track days, mass car events to foreign trips.

You have probably worked out by now that we like a bit of light hearted banter!

Its nice to know we are doing our job though, thank you for your kind comments.

It's great to know that members really feel a benefit of this forum. As Matt said, many of us have experienced the issues these cars throw up first hand, so it's fantastic when others can benefit from the experience by either avoiding the issue in the first place, or fixing the fault for minimal outlay.

This forum and another that went before it helped me to make purchasing decisions and saved me a small fortune on servicing and repairs to keep my cars in the best condition possible.

I've even met some people I quite like!

What nobody sports a racing beard a la button?

Suppose I'll have to get rid of the Arran knit aswell.

At least the tank top is safe I've seen Dicky in one of them!

I would like to defend my honour and state that I have never owned, borrowed or even tried on a tank top. I'll give you that one though Max ;)

Still on my first Matt and have to say totally reliable got in her this morning outside and totally frozen over minus 4 and straight into life even the lifters don't chatter on these cold mornings. Hardest job is opening the doors.

My mum was a seamstress in Barnsley when she first left school at 16, and she has said on many occasions how Dicky Bird used to pop up to see the girls working away..one for the ladies apparently! Sorry totally thread drift!
