I guess it just depends on your size/shape as I find them supremely comfortable. Same with lightweight seats in an Aston, some love them (I do) and won't buy a car without them and others cannot get on with them
It really depends of your morphology.
For me they are comfortable (not supremely comfortable but enough to do 350 miles without needing help at destination to get out of the car), but some passengers don't seem to think so.
I think they lack ajustements, and the small plastic handle allowing the bucket seat to be tilted doesn't look very solid. And I know at least 2 cars with the slider blocked (and you can't unmount it when the seat can't slide).
Oh, and it's not so easy to go in or out of the car with these seats if you are not fit.
As for the car, it's a hoot to drive, maybe a little bit too low.
For me, what makes it special is mainly the blue carbon and the little flag, I could make without the seats.
My point of view is that 30k is quite cheap for this kind of car, and if you buy it to drive and not to make a profit when the time comes to sell it, it's not a bad deal.
I bought mine last year for 33.5k, it was the us import who was on ebay for such a long time. The car was not perfect, bubbles on the steering wheel and airbag panel (easy to repair with glue), rims had seen better days (not expensive at all to repair), I had to replace some rubbers on the suspensions and did a major service (nothing difficult on the GS). Istill have to take car of the small bubbles under the left tail light.
The car came with new tires, new battery, clutch wear was only 32% and drives perfectly. All in all, I think I made a good buy.
By the way, there was a limited edition in Japan (about 35 cars), ordered in april 07 by Cornes to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the collaboration with maserati, with the same flag on the aisle/the blue carbon everywhere/big flappy paddles but without the seats and the front spoiler, named the 10th anniversary, it's a special place to be too!
