Taking the plunge! Any last minute advice?

Hi

I am going to be placing a deposit on a 2011 GTs MC Shift today. The car has under 15,000 miles on it. I will be buying it from Greypaul. Im putting the deposit down today and picking it up on Saturday.

Is there anything in particular I should look out for or make sure of before I commit. Coming from Greypaul it has a 12 month trident warranty and will get its 4 year service done later in the year (oct) as part of the deal. Am I being lured into a false sense of security just because it is Greypaul or is this pretty much the safest bet when it comes to getting a decent, reliable, hassle free car?

Any input much appreciated.

Thanks

Don't think you can get much more security than you have sorted with GP. Just pick her up, drive her home and enjoy! Just a shame Saturday to be a bit miserable weather wise. Will look out for you on the road since I'm down picking up the old girl from PK Saturday too.

Good luck
Car is new enough that it should be a good one. Life after the warranty might involve a bit more spending, but depends on what you are used to.
Not sure about "reliable, hassle free car?" - is it intended to be a daily driver ;)

Its not going to be a daily driver, just a toy for some fun and enjoyment. I am doing a 3 week euro road trip in July so going to be giving it a good 4,000 mile blast which will be amazing

Get the car up to and above motorway speed and lightly and firmly press the brake and check for vibration, apart from that, with a Trident warranty, happy days!
