Suppressor - surely not ?!

I'm getting a whine through the entertainment unit which rises and falls with the revs. It's exactly the sort of whine I used to get back in the day when you had to fit an inline suppressor on the live wire.

Surely that's not the case here ? Can't believe the unit wouldn't have inbuilt suppression.

Anyone else get this ?

Nb - I have a Parrot fitted, could that affect things ?

You'll find this is an earth connection that has been compromised. have you added an external amplifier?

Thanks chaps - looks like a check all earths situation. No external amp fitted, but it's a simple task to pop the side panel off covering the parrot, so don't anticipate much drama.

Check the Earth on the parrot; if it isn't metal to metal it may be causing the problem.
