Hi,

I wondered who is going to Supercars in the city in Sheffield this Saturday, either showing or watching ?

I am very likely to be there, weather permitting. I am working out the logistics as I have to be down at Gatwick on Saturday evening.

Hi Ian,

I'm not sure if I can just drive up and park or if I need to sign up somewhere. I'm hoping the weather will be good as I've just put another coat of Harley wax on it.

Nick, this normally a SuperCarDriver event in collaboration with the Sporting Bears. In order to take part, you have to be a member of either organisation, I don't think there is a 'just pitch up and park' option. I am in the SCD and, if you like the odd hard drive, would recommend you join too. However, feel free to come down, have a look, have a chat and contribute to a very worthwhile cause (Bluebell children's hospice).

Nick, sorry mate, I can't play out in Sheffield. I've just been re-rostered to Vegas tomorrow lunchtime. I believe there is another spyder going so, if you go, you can say hi to him instead! Hopefully see you in the near future. Regards.

I hate don't like flying either, to me it's just an office with a nice view. Personally, I'd rather be going to Sheffield, having a tear up there and back with like minded individuals in nice cars whilst raising money for terminally ill children.

Hmmm... the Vegas parallels are sketchy, Benny: tear across to Nevada with like-minded individuals so that other people can help make money for an industry in terminal decline*.

*assuming Macau's ascent continues.

As long as the industry lasts another 9 years that will do me. In the meantime the industry can provide me with the funds to buy copious amounts of petrol so I can enjoy life in the 'fast lane' whilst I am still young enough to do so.

I'm going to be there, I'll be parking in Tudor Square, not entered in the rev off as the completion is too hot! Hopefully the weather holds should be great fun day if it does.
Hope to see you there Nick if you can make it!

Hi John, I was really looking forward to being there. I had high hopes of taking down the opposition in the rev off. I think it's likely to be Dom in the Ultima GTR or Mike in the blue 360 spider with the 430 exhaust. Have fun, It should be a laugh!
