Not sure Geoff...44k on the clock, service before delivery and a faec lift car price doesn't seem to far off the mark......Some are now asking over 20k for a face lift 4200. If clutch is good I think it looks a good car and love it or hate it its a rare vintage pack car.......Well worth a look I think.

What is the Vintage pack? Not seen one before.

As I said in my first post, it's a bit top heavy.

I'd say it's a good buy at £17950, it's only done 44k miles, probably has a new clutch and if it's got a good history, what's not to like? Everyone was saying Gus' car was great value two weeks ago at £16k with 58500 miles and no warranty. This car is IMO the best value facelift out there if it's as good in the flesh as it appears to be in the advert.

Well Richards giving thumbs up.
I reckon my Project 4200 is worth more than I think then having a look around the market place.
I have to pay duty on her when she arrives in New Zealand and they value her at wait for it £24 to £26,000 but I only have to pay duty on what I paid for her and cannot sell for 4 years.

Sentiments exactly Dicky....Gus's car was a peach and this looks the same...Miles and history looks good and price looks good to me...What's not to like.

An optimistic valuation Phil; sounds like you have a result though having rescued it and all :) now you get to enjoy it for at least four years!!!!

Just got copies of the invoices for work done on the Supercar Rooms 4200.

Jeez, the guy who owned it previously had some BIG bills.
The £10k which has been spent in the last 2 years is on the following:-

Clutch (Jan 14)
A £6,888.19 bill in July last year for:-
Annual Service
Door card & Mirror seal replacement
Fix Rocket cover oil leak
Two new tyres
Discs and pads all round (getting the SM discs is even more a no brainer!)
New hand brake shoes
Track rod end
OSR bottom arm
Steering gaitor replacement
Alloys repair due to curbing
Fix misfire from cylinder 1-4 - RH Catalytic Bank faulty
New cat!

Air con compressor in Jan 2013

Need to get to see this me thinks!
