Best thing I have watched in a long time was “The Bear” streams on Disney…

Late to the party but Yellowstone is entertaining enough. 1st series now on MY 5 for free.

Just watched Morons from Outer Space, which is so terrible it is almost good. Imagine if you put Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones in a hotel suite with all the booze they could consume, and gave them a weekend to write a film script. So basically comedy geniuses dashing off some complete **** that makes no sense. Not really recommended, but very silly 1980s British nonsense.

One to AVOID, The Card Counter.
Long winded story that doesn't go anywhere for 100 minutes then climaxes in the last 10 and leaves you thinking 'well that was rubbish'. Well acted though.

Having never watch any before I have taken this week of recuperation to binge watch Breaking Bad, made it to the start of season four. Quite a remarkable series.

I was told that Breaking Bad was quite slow-starting and hard to get into, but good once you were a few episodes in. My sons gave me the box set on DVD. When I started watching, I thought it really started with a bang, and although a little confusing, I felt I quickly understood who was who, and what was going on. It was only after about 5 episodes that I realised that I had accidentally started at Season 4!!! I then went back to the beginning, and it still flowed very well, and made sense.

'The Gold Robbers' is currently being shown on Talking Pictures, I've missed a few episodes so I've dug out my dvd to watch it again from the start - it's a thirteen part b&w series made in late '68 / early '69 starring Peter Vaughan as the determined cozzer tracking down the villains who carried out a gold bullion raid in Kent, guest stars include Ian Hendry, Peter Bowles, Joss Ackland, Wanda Ventham, George Cole and Patrick Allen...
