This sounds a bit bonkers but we’ve had some weird things happen at home.

A few weeks ago Kel noticed this.
She reckons it kept going for another 20 seconds.
For those that say the cat scratching was causing it

It’s concrete topped table that two people struggle to lift.

We tried to replicate it but couldn’t.

During the week Kel was startled when a whole load of Yasmins toys fell down from their location where they’d been for days.

Today I was in the kitchen and Yasmin was on the couch. Out of nowhere there was a loud crash as a Toy dolls car landed on the floor two yards away from the opposite couch she was on. I thought she’d thrown it and I asked her.

She’s adamant it was in the middle of the opposite said couch. Kel says that’s where she placed it after picking it up off the floor.

A good mate of mine died recently….we’re beginning to wonder…….

Sorry about your loss.

However, never mind the thrown toy car, look at what the ghost has done to these dolls! I have a feeling it may not be your dear departed, good mate!

Joking aside, I’ve had a number of strange occurrences in my house but always experienced by others, not myself. A girl sitting on a guest bed who appeared to other people and slammed the guest bedroom door shut… only for no one to be found when the door was re-opened. A man appearing at the top of the stairs to a niece staying over. From her description it sounded like my late father who she had never met. A number of other stories. I don’t doubt any of these people’s accounts.

In my case, whatever these were, it appeared they were attracted to people and not places…

The Zip is swinging due to a resonant force acting upon it. The force could be horizontal but also vertical!

A bob on a line, moved vertically will not move from side to side until it gets to a resonant frequency. Is there something vibrating close by? An Air conditioner, traffic or plant machninery? Noting that your table top is concrete it would conduct any vibration as its quite inflexible.

No there was nothing.
A/cs off.
All windows/doors closed…..no renovation work in vicinity. Table sits on a thick rug.

A mate suggested the building itself might be moving/swinging……

It’s never done it before, or since…..when we flicked it you can see how quickly it stops.

Is it windy? Maybe collective Air cons in other flats...the resonance will be undetectable by humans but not to the zip...

Put a glass of water on the table, you might be able to see the vibration...science is fun!

Building moving at just the right frequency for the zip doesn’t take much and might not be at the right frequency again for years.

Anything to do with sound waves and the music ?

But most likely movement in the building, how high up are you ?

Top, 33.
Whilst I know high rise move I’m struggling to believe it could cause the uniform motion that “zip pull” showed.

it’s an odd one and the car……

Had another event.
Got home from gym and I’m having a shave in en-suite.
There’s a large “crack”
And I’ve turned around….sounded like hanger falling in wardrobe. Had a look in mine, Kels - nothing.
So I go back to shaving.
Couple of mins later call walks in…..what’s this?

Mmmn not sure. Look around…has something fallen out of A/c?Hang on…. It’s a snapped acrylic rod….from curtain? We Have a look behind both curtains….yup it’s a recessed rod we don’t even use!!!
