I've driven a few Gallardos, they drive very old compared to the strad... And that gearshift.. engine and box feels like it's about to depart from the car on each change. Never driven a manual though, they'd be where I image the fun is.I am biased but the Gallardo is great, even an old Gallardo spyder faired well on the recent edition of Top gear. I would only go for the improved facelift LP cars with more power though!
The LP cars drive better and they are very different feel to a Strad, mainly due to the size and power delivery. The gated manual mated to 560bhp V10 is fun!I've driven a few Gallardos, they drive very old compared to the strad... We think the same way Maserati Mcstradale! There are certainly many great cars under £100k but.......
I often look at the Audi V10 Plus’s and I love the idea of the rigid cornering and blistering performance but a day into ownership, then what?? Nope, I’m sticking with the charismatic Stradale.
You are also right with me on the new generation Vanquishes but it‘s just a badge swap, it doesn’t offer anything over the Strad other than a change of scene.
Gallardo SLeg - great fun, just don’t want to wear a balaclava helmet and constantly tell people that ”it’s alright, it’s a driver’s car....”
Have already done the C63 thing. Awesome machines, I even did a 507 Edition estate search yesterday - none out there. The ‘Black’ is a total beast but sooo much more money for not enough more car.
Jaguar..... just not quite a Maser but a whole load of car for the cash. Always looking at those too!
For me I really think the AMG GT “R” is the only machine with the flair and theatre that gets close. It has the performance, the looks and of course the noise is such a massive part of why the Stradale works, so a big tick there too. There are a few advertised at just over £100k so for a sale we are kind of there on price but are we there on the whole adventure of ownership? Err, not quite.......
Mark.

You can PM me and I will tell you what happened, not sure what the rules on naming and shaming on this forum.I have always noticed GC have 4 seater Stradale's forsale at goodish prices. Whats wrong with GC?
And I am sure none would carry 4, and definitely not in comfort!.....None of them would sound like a Stradale though...
Mine won't either, to be honest! And I am sure none would carry 4, and definitely not in comfort!
Ferrari FF? Ugly as a gaggle of ugly sisters, and not a Maser, but classy none the less.

Not a great deal of competition there in terms of modern Ferrari.Whereas I think it is one for the best looking (if not the best looking) F car produced for a while
Also not a fan off the Ferrari FF. I think it looks like a clown shoe lol.Not a great deal of competition there in terms of modern Ferrari.
Imho, there's an over emphasis on function rather than form. Pretty they ain't.

think i need to get my eyes tested. I think the F12, 458 and 488 look ok. Not quite up to QPV standards but a good attempt at stylingNot a great deal of competition there in terms of modern Ferrari.
