Stolen cats

If the thieves do their research, they will know that many sports cars will already be de-catted and are likely to have better alarms etc in place.

On the other hand, with little research, a 4 cat 4200 might seem like a wonderful target for them.
It'd almost be fun to see their faces when they find gutted or disintegrating primaries...

On the other hand... what's next? I'm sure we'll be back to windows broken for mobile phones left in there and alloy wheels (probably for the cost of the tyres!) soon.

The other side of the coin is we choose where we live so we can't have everything.
Highways maintenance has suffered massively in the UK it seems.
Been in France almost 4 years and really thought living in the Countryside I would need a 4x4 but there's nothing my Renault 4 cannot do.
We're Lucky as we have Good roads though.
I agree with the good roads in France comment. We had a boat on the Canal du Burgogne for 10 years and the last 100 miles from Troyes were the best driving experience. It also helps to find out the planned Tour de France route because all the local roads are resurfaced (other than the cobbled route through the farm fields this year!)
