Thanks for a lot replies, another question when I start the engine navi display some informations and also that sim card is not fitted, then I must click "main dark" to see all other things temperatrue, cd song etc. Can I change it?

Odd. Mine lives on the audio screen and never shows anything else. I don't have a SIM card fited either.

I have question about seat belt tensioner, can anyone tell me what distance is between top and bottom of red line, from this pic:

My car is after accident, belt tensioners could be triggered, I had this in me previous BMW, I think here is the same thing.

I *think* you'd be able to tell very easily if it had been triggered. My experience is they tend to self destruct far more than that one would appear to have done. But remind me at the weekend if you want me to measure.

I must cancel airbag light, and I need someone with SD2 diagnostic tool, but I have 300 miles to this workshop, so I would like to be sure that all tensioners are fine, I dont want only hear that I must change tensioners and come back from this journey with airbag light still on

Strange, I have the same 12,5 cm, next step will be taking off rear panels to see in what condition are seat belts.

Not sure about this but wouldn't the airbag light be permanently on if they had be activated as they are part of the airbag system and would be sending a deployed signal to the airbag ECU ?

You are right, airbags were deployed, I want to know about belts tensioners they should be also deployed. To cancel airbag light they must be ok, maybe belts were not fastened when accident happened.

I would have thought that the belt tensioners would not know if a belt was inserted and would fire anyway. However it depends on which direction the shunt happen as to which airbags are deployed and therefore I would guess that in certain direction accidents the belt tensioners wold not be required to fire.

Hi Keme

The belt tensioners are in the roller end and if they have been deployed the belts will have locked up. If your belts are still working normally I would think that they are OK. From experience I know the door airbags can deploy without the belt tensioners going off.

You will need SD2-3 to reset the light.

Then I will see how roller part looks like car was after front accident and only front driver and passanger airbags were deployed, If they will be fine SD2 work and light should be canceled.
