Sticky paddle - Suggestions?

The downshift paddle on The Red Shed (4200) has become a tad sluggish, almost as if the spring is asleep. Pretty sure it will be an easy switch if I can get to it, but it may entail removing the steering wheel and and of course - the air bag. Any thoughts?

Getting access to the paddle mount is easy. Removing the airbag is easy (couple of how-tos on here).

You'll probably need a wheel puller to get to the actual switches, though.
